Private Coaching with Rocky Duvall

12-Week Acting Series 1

Train Exclusively with Mr. Rocky, 10 Students Only, Ages 8+, First come, first serve!!

Grab an exclusive spot on this incredible journey to learn from and be mentored by a deeply knowledgeable and experienced instructor. Train 1:1 to build self-confidence, self-esteem, acting and audition skills, monologues, scene study and character study, improving overall ability to speak confidently in front of a group. Each session is tailor fit to each student's potential.


DATES:


Feb 15 - May 9

Coaching appointments scheduled with Mr. Rocky once-a-week


May 9

Final Lesson in a Class Setting: May 9 from 2-5pm with a performance at 4:30pm @ Opal Studios (Formerly NCDC)


COST:  12 hours for $1125 


Breakdown of hours:

Nine (9) 1-hour private lessons tailored to the student. 1-hour per week for 9 weeks.

One (1) 3-hour workshop with all students in a class setting culminating in a final performance on May 9, 2026.


Location Options: Choose one and we will keep it consistent every week

#1. Opal Studios (Recommended) - Extra fees apply for the room rental for the Private Coaching. We will arrange this once a week based on your schedule demands. Rooms will have to be booked prior to the lesson. 

#2. In-Home - Mr. Rocky can come to you. No extra fees if local within a 10-mile radius.

#3. Online Zoom Session (If Needed)- Via Computer - you will need an internet connection and a Zoom app.


Subjects Covered:

  • Auditions - Learn what is expected from you at a proper audition and the steps needed to succeed and feel confident about your audition.
  • Monologues - Learn to memorize lines and act out a scene by yourself.
  • Scene Study/Storytelling - Breakdown the meaning of the scenes in a show and how they relate to the characters and story. Discuss conflict and resolution. 
  • Characterization - Learn how to relate to and create a backstory for your character with self discipline.
  • Diction, Breathing, Pronunciation, Projection - Learn how to speak clearly without losing your breath and be heard in the backrow. Learn self-confidence by speaking publicly.
